As a therapist, I will help you identify your own internal strengths and external resources. We will work together as a team to explore past trauma and defuse its impact on your life today. We will work together to identify your sources of stress and joy, your hopes and fears, and work on moving you towards a path of your own choosing. You will learn how to be present in your own life.
I have been trained in trauma focused therapy (CCTP), mindfulness, CBT, psychodynamic and strength based practices, among others. I follow an integrative approach to therapy. Our work together will focus on nurturing self-awareness. Empowered by self-awareness you will be able to cope and thrive, regardless of the challenges you are facing.
